Nagawa Co., Ltd. supplies superior natural fiber materials from all over the world.
Our company started dealing in wool fibers in the middle 1920's in Nagoya, a textile production area, and soon after the war, we started importing wool and special animal hair from all over the world.
In particular, we were the pioneers of domestic imports of mohair, alpaca, and British wool, and contributed to their establishment as high-quality materials. As the processing bases moved from the UK, which had been the center of primary raw material processing, to Peru in South America for alpaca and South Africa for mohair, our company cooperated with the factories in the origin to improve the quality and promote sales.
As part of this, we were also involved in the establishment of the International Alpaca Association and the International Mohair Association.
As Merino wool was all the rage, we focused on British wool, which has many sheep that have the characteristics of primitive sheep, and we have worked hard to research how to utilize the material and establish its position as a special wool.
Today, we not only handle these raw materials, but also a wide range of semi-finished products and finished products such as yarn made from them, as well as other materials and products.
We will continue to utilize our passion and knowledge for special natural materials to propose their merits to the new generation and strive to contribute to manufacturing from a new perspective.

Textile fiber raw materials wholesale
We mainly import raw materials for primary processing of fine animal hair and sell them to secondary processing manufacturers such as spinning mills and futon manufacturers. We mainly handle the following natural fibers.
Wool
It is a representative animal fiber and is mainly produced in countries around the world i.e. Australia, New Zealand and Europe (including the UK and France), South America (such as Uruguay, Argentina and Peru), and South Africa.
Depending on the fiber's thickness, length, colour, crimp, and stiffness, it can be used for a variety of purposes, such as clothing, duvet filling, insulation, and industrial felt materials.
It is a very interesting fiber, with characteristics that vary greatly depending on the place of origin and the type of sheep. British wool is particularly abundant, with Cheviot, Suffolk, Shetland, Blueface and other types of wool having unique characteristics not found in Merino wool, which is mainly produced in other places.
